The Legend of “Stick Shift StevE”

Steve wasn’t born in a factory… he was drawn into existence one late night in the shop when someone left a Sharpie too close to the CNC laptop. One squiggle led to another, and suddenly there he was — a stick figure with a mission: to drive anything with wheels, gears, or questionable safety features.

Cartoon drawing of a person riding a small car, smiling and waving, with a speech bubble saying 'WELCOME TO OVER KILL KUSTOMS WHERE BUILDS GO BEYOND THE LIMIT!'. The car has a box labeled 'PARTS' and a sign saying 'OVER KILL KUSTOMS'. There is text saying 'I'M STICK SHIFT STEVE, YOUR SHOP DRIVER!'
Stylized black and white text that appears to spell out "Punk" in a bold, artistic font.
Comic strip titled "Stick Shift Steve's Shopping Spree" with three panels. Panel 1 shows Steve in a shopping cart filled with parts, looking overwhelmed. Panel 2 shows Steve urging not to stall him now while riding in the cart, next to a checkout sign. Panel 3 shows Steve happily showing a receipt, claiming approval by Over Kill Kustoms with no speed limits at checkout.
  • Early Days: Steve started out test-driving imaginary rigs on napkins and scrap metal. He quickly earned a reputation for grinding gears, missing shifts, and yelling “It’s fine!” right before hitting a pothole.

  • Signature Move: He only drives stick shift — not because he’s good at it, but because he refuses to acknowledge automatics exist. His motto: “If you can’t stall it, you can’t call it driving.”

  • Shop Role: Now, Steve is the official Over Kill Kustoms “test driver.” Every build gets his imaginary stamp of approval — usually after he pretends to take it for a joyride and crashes into a doodled fence.

  • Fun Fact: He claims to have set the land speed record in Montana… but only downhill, with a tailwind, and no brakes.
